SIG (Structure Interpolation and Gridding) is a package written to create wire grid models of aircraft and other vehicles. Cross-sections are defined from drawings or other data, these are interpolated, augmented, and gridded for simulation using NEC-type codes. The program was designed in accordance with the Object Oriented Paradigm (OOP) and implemented in the C++ language.

ASEP (Antenna Simulation and Evaluation Package) simulates an aircraft radio link from start to finish, allowing accurate prediction of antenna performance using real flight profiles. The simulation starts from the cockpit noise, aircraft radio, the digital codecs used, the aircraft antenna radiation pattern, propagation and ground reflections, and the receiving antenna patterns. In tests on real aircraft the predicted results correspond well to measurements.

Licensing options: There are 3 licensing options available when purchasing SuperNEC and SuperNEC Lite.

Software key only: SuperNEC is normally supplied with a software key only. After installing SuperNEC the user e-mails a requests for a license to SuperNEC@poynting.co.za. This request includes some machine information. The license (software key) that we will mail to the user must be copied onto the machine where SuperNEC is installed and confines SuperNEC to one machine.

Hardware key: Optionally a user can request a hardware key (dongle) that must be plugged into the parallel port. The license (software key) that we will mail to the user must be copied onto the machine where SuperNEC is installed and confines SuperNEC to the machine that has the dongle. The user can then use SuperNEC on one machine at a time.

Floating License: For machines that are networked a floating license is also available. The software license is copied onto a server. The number of people that can use SuperNEC simultaneously depends on the number of floating licenses that was bought. If 2 floating licenses were bought, a possible 10 users might have the software installed, but only 2 will be able to use it simultaneously.

Academic user: Please note that the academic price and free academic SuperNEC Lite is valid for academic institutions and students only. We will need proof in the form of

1) an order on a letterhead of the institution or
2) a copy of your personnel/student card, should you qualify for the reduced academic price or free SuperNEC Lite.

The software is identical for commercial and academic users, the only difference is that we are selling SuperNEC and SuperNEC Parallel at a reduced price and offering SuperNEC Lite free in order to promote education.

SuperNEC Subscription: With a purchase of SuperNEC Parallel, SuperNEC, or SuperNEC Lite you receive a free SuperNEC subscription. This subscription includes updates, fixes and enhancements to your SuperNEC product and limited technical support for ONE year after purchase. In other words, should we upgrade to later versions of SuperNEC during the first year you will receive them without any additional cost. After the first year you have a choice of renewing the subscription, which will entitle you to upgrades and technical support for the following year. If you do not want to renew your subscription you can keep the (then current) version indefinitely.
